Last week I has lucky enough to meet two household names from the BBC while out and about spreading the word about Videosign.
First up, I attended the Future of Cyber Security Europe conference in central London, where I had chance to speak to business leaders and members of the security industry about the latest in compliance, eSignature, and identity verification software.
It was a buzzing event and it was great to hear from others working in this important area.
What was clear from the discussions and presentations during the day was that platforms like Videosign bring two key benefits to organisations.
The obvious one is the reduction in risk that comes with having robust and innovative security arrangements when doing business online.
Just as importantly, well-designed software increases efficiency, reduces waste and provides an improved customer experience.
These are things we have been saying at Videosign for years, so it was great to hear that view shared by others in the industry throughout the event.
But a personal highlight for me was meeting documentary maker Louis Theroux. He’s been one of my heroes for a long time, so it was a pleasure to get the chance to say hello after his Q&A session at the conference.
After that, we headed to London’s East Wintergarden for the Business Champion Awards.
This is the UK's largest national business awards programme, celebrating the best of British business.
Hosted by BBC broadcasting legend Huw Edwards, the event was an incredible showcase of business innovation.
It was fantastic to hear inspiring stories of innovation and forward thinking from businesses all over the UK.
As well as getting the chance to meet Huw, I was incredibly proud to bring home the Silver Award for Videosign in the Business Innovation of the Year category.
Judges were looking for businesses that have both innovated and developed a healthy collaborative culture within their teams.
I’m very pleased that our work has been recognised in this way, and congratulations are in order to the team at Videosign for earning this accolade.
Having met two broadcasting legends and picked up a national award, I’m back in the office this week filled with excitement about the future of Videosign.
